Been a While
Yeah I know it's been a while since I've posted. About six months actually. : P I'll try to have more frequent updates now. Blogging is fun... when you have stuff to blog about.

Forum rant
Ever since the leakage of two trailers, the forum has been a complete and utter mess! Gazillions of posts on the same topic, especially, "omg leik a new trailerz i discovered!", "when will EA announce generations?", "unleashed has icky graphics!", I could go on. All these posts could have been prevented by using the search feature, which at least for me isn't as buggy as it's made out to be. With all this, it buries legitimate posts from people who actually have a question to be answered, etc., and wait for the onslaught of people demanding Unleashed be released sooner because they know about it and cannot wait until October. I think the web team needs to enact stricter rules on posting, in my opinion. Rant over. :)

Generations?
Very recently Snooty posted a link to the next EP (Generations, as it's currently known) System Requirements. As soon as I saw Generations will take 6.1 GB of space, I noticed something peculiar.
Snooty's link: http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep4/systemreq
leads to the exact same place as
http://www.thesims3.com/game/systemreq the system requirements for the base game.
In fact:
http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep2/systemreq
http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep3/systemreq
http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep4/systemreq
http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep5/systemreq
And so on (up until "ep10"), go to the exact same place, the requirements for the Base Game! My theory is that EA has set up placeholder domains so that on an off chance, no one else can accidentally end up with their domain names. If those placeholders are anything to go by, we'll be getting ten expansion packs.
I'm not doubting whether or not the next EP will be Generations or not. Just, I won't believe it until I hear it out of EA's filthy-rich mouth.
